Extreme Makeover Home Edition

Last week Extreme Makeover Home Edition was in Holt, Michigan doing a home for a lady who had lost her husband due to an illness contracted from a patient. Her family attends Ele's Place.
For those of you who don't know what Ele's Place is it is a place where families who either have a terminal or life threatening illness or an actual death go to meet with other families who are going through the same thing. They break the kids up according to age and have what they call breakout sessions and they talk through their feelings about what has happened and sometimes they just play and have fun. The girls love going and I love it also. They also have sessions for the adults as well as spouses who are the ones who are sick.
The show called Ele's Place and asked them to gather some of the kids up and have them go and help out with building Leo things for one of the kids rooms. Of course when they called us we were all excited. So on Tuesday I picked the kids up from school early and we all went to Ele's Place. Only Kiersten, Whitney and Sadee got to participate in the actual filming of the show but the rest of us just had to come.
We got to meet the producer of the show, Paige and Michael from the cast. They were extremely nice and sat down with us just like they had known us for years and chatted with us about the show while they were setting up the kids and the equipment in the other room.
Kiersten and Whitney were both intervewed by Paige and Michael about their experience with Hunter and how they felt about attending Ele's Place. Kiersten sat right next to Paige the whole time and said that she smelled soooooo good!!!!!!!!
After they were done shooting they let the parents back into the room and all of the children were getting autographs. As soon as I came around the corner Sadee was getting Michael's autograph. She was grinning from ear to ear jumping up and down totaly star struck pointing at him and squeeling. Michael was just laughing at her is was soooo cute. Paige sang happy birthday to Sadee since her birthday was the next day. She was pretty excited about that.
Whitney said she was never washing her body again because Paige had hugged her so many times.
The show is supposed to air some time in November around Thanksgiving. I will keep you posted.
